FlexTool and FlexModul are a team: The software FlexTool configures FlexModul, the weather station and sun protection controls together. This makes planning and commissioning easy, simplifies configuration and makes quick diagnosis and troubleshooting possible during service.
FlexTool makes configuration easier with pre-defined programmes and helps find the right settings. The configuration is automatically completed if the set parameters are assigned to the FlexModul. Besides, individual observation strategies and complete documentations can be generated automatically and data can be read out.
FlexModul calculates the permanent elevation and azimuth, in short, the exact position of the sun in every location of the world. On account of these calculations, the façades are placed in the desired position, so that there is no glare and optimum amount of light comes into the room depending on the time of the day. At the same time, the connected sensors measure, for instance, wind speed, brightness and rainfall and provide all the required information to the control centre. Likewise, the shadow of adjacent buildings can be considered. The modularity of the systems allows connecting up to 32 sensors without any problem.
