With BMS control technique, the exhibition halls can be precisely darkened and yet be well-ventilated.

The Project

BMS control technique ensures exact darkening and ventilation. Due to the mandatory safety regulations, the systems are automatically moved to a protected position in case of a fire.

The Technique

Over 1,100 screens are positioned by around 600 actuators. Possible collisions with open windows should be avoided at exposed places. When a fire alarm goes off, the systems are moved to a secure position in the ceiling area.

The Object

The new exhibition site in Friedrichshafen is one of the biggest and most modern exhibition sites in southern Germany. The halls provide a huge place of 62,500 square meters for exhibitors!
